The IPA is delighted to announce the next new partner to sign up to the innovative IPA World League – welcome to IPA Uganda!
Uganda is yet another powerhouse nation for African blackball pool, organised by the PAU – The Pool Association of Uganda, who oversee the development of the sport at all levels, both Nationally and Internationally. Their National Championships had close to 8,000 entries – a staggering number!
IPA Chairman Kevin Barton commented “Uganda is another great addition to the IPA World League, and we can’t wait to welcome them to our family in 2024. I have seen and heard about the growing reputations of some of their finest talent – both male and female – and we are counting down the days to see them on the biggest stage in world pool here at the IPA”
PR Secretary of the PAU Peter Kyobe added “Uganda has some of the most exciting crop of pool players in Africa, and we thank the IPA for this great opportunity to bring our top players to the UK to take part in these fantastic events. The players and Administrators cannot wait for the season to start”
