The IPA, the only recognised body for small table pool, is delighted to announce the details of their next live televised event, the 2022 Champions Cup, which will be shown exclusively on Sporty Stuff TV, and online at www.sportystuff.tv.
Gareth Hibbott will be the defending champion, as he looks to retain his title, along with a cool £10,000, from a huge prize fund totalling £32,000.
Following on from the massively successful event staged in mid-2021, the Champions Cup returns with a fresh, new, exciting format, that is guaranteed to provide even more drama, excitement, and shocks galore, ensuring that viewers will be glued to their seats for the entirety of the competition – look out for some exciting innovations along the way.
The event will feature the stars from the IPA Professional ranks, in addition to the winners from the Amateur qualifiers, doing battle for the top prize and the chance to call themselves the 2022 Champions Cup winner.
It will be epic!
IPA Chairman Kevin Barton commented “It is great to be back on Sporty Stuff TV with the Champions Cup. We finished the 2021 event with what I would describe as the greatest small table pool tv programme ever. It simply had everything, and it’s great to return and to try and raise the bar yet again in terms of tv production – which we will do. We have the best production team in Streamscape, supporting the world’s best players – it’s a perfect match – and with the event being revamped and refreshed, we are all ready to go and deliver a fantastic pool spectacle. Bring it on!”
