IPA Tour 2021
The IPA is delighted to announce details of the 2021 Tour – the premier events on the pool calendar.
Due to the pandemic, we have had to shorten the season, but it will still be a superb season of events without doubt. The Tour will start in Coventry, and feature stops at Gosforth & Bournemouth, and finish off with a double helping of events on the Isle of Man. The 2nd of these stops will be in January 2022 and will feature the Grand Finals.
Prize monies will again be increased which is great news for the players, and the winner of the Grand Final will take home a cool £7,000 for their efforts.
Entry fees and hotel fees will all remain unchanged from 2020 although as a special offer to recognise the challenging times we have all been through, throughout the month of March, ALL hotel rooms will be seriously discounted.
We will also be continuing to showcase the finest pool players on the planet via the BBC Sport website, with lots of new innovations on the horizon, as we continue to develop our sport leading coverage with Streamscape – our fantastic livestream providers.
IPA Chairman Kevin Barton commented “After a frustrating 2020 with most events being cancelled due to Covid 19, we are delighted to be announcing the details for the 2021 Tour, which will be the biggest and best yet. We have secured new sponsors and having been able to cut costs, we are able to increase the prize funds and reduce hotel costs as a result, which we know the players will all appreciate. We are also looking forward to taking our streaming to new levels with our partner Streamscape, who are the clear leaders in this field for the sport of pool”
