After an unprecedented response from pool communities across the globe, the IPA is delighted to announce that their inaugural World Championship has now filled its allocation of 128 places, but In order to accommodate ongoing demand for places, they have agreed to a one off increase of a further 64 places – these are expected to fill very quickly.
The legendary Lakeside Country Club will play host to this flagship event from the 21st-26th January, featuring a star studded line up, including Gareth Potts, Christophe Lambert and Lee Clough amongst many many others. They will be battling alongside the many challengers from around the world, who will all be in pursuit of not only the guaranteed £5,000 first prize, but more importantly, the prestige of becoming the 2014 IPA World Champion.
As further proof that the IPA continues to lead the way, the 2014 IPA Tour has virtually filled its allocation of 128 places, and so with still five months to go to the start, organisers have had no choice but to increase the entry limit to 192 places with the added bonus that prize monies will be guaranteed without filling a single extra spot above 128.
The IPA is delighted to be working with likeminded local, national and International pool bodies, including the famous Riley’s Sports bars brand, on both the 2014 IPA World Championships and the IPA Tour.
With the innovative formats, guarantee of more matches, and reduced entry fees, the best players from across the globe will do battle over five pool packed weekends to determine the ultimate Champions. Add in the unrivalled live streaming, the flexible entry options and fantastic locations across the UK, you would be mad to miss out.
