2017

The IPA World Series is the IPA’s first steps to stage major events outside of the UK. With the global nature if Blackball rules, played in many overseas countries, coupled with the fact that the IPA is the International Professional body, it is only right that we start to broaden our horizons and look to expand our portfolio of events.

Over the coming years, we will look to develop these events to become an established part of the IPA Calendar, as we look to increase the prize funds and prestige of them.

We will be hosting the qualifiers in the early part of the year, with the semi-finalists going through to the final stages. These events are for all Professionals only in 2017.

As a guide, we will aim to fly out to the destination on the Friday evening, returning either Sunday evening or Monday morning to try and minimise any disruption to your work. Players can of course extend if they so wish.

The planned schedule for each event are as follows (although subject to change):

Saturday – Pro Semi Finals & Team Challenge

Sunday – Pro Final, KO event (4 Pros v 4 qualifiers)
